I wanted to post sooner, but I only found time to get to a computer today. So, here's the past week so far.
Wednesday, August 3rd: I had a birthday. I turned 27. Yup, I'm getting pretty old. That day, I got a gym membership. I need to use it more often. The first half of my birthday celebrations was seeing an outdoor theater show. I bought food for my guests and we all dressed up and had a picnic. there was chocolate, bread, martinellies, yogurt and stuff. It was fun.
Then the next half of the celebrating came when a huge bunch of my friends( including some from the show we saw whom I either knew already or had just met ) went to the karaoke bar( which is literally a 30 second walk from where the show was ). I got so drunk that night. I must have spent over $30 worth of alcohol on myself. I also tried marijuana for the first time. Interesting experience.
Thursday: August 4th: That day was my mothers birthday. Yup, our birthdays are back to back. Love you mummsie <3. Not too much happened that day. Me and my best friend saw the show again and then we went out to Applebease with the entire cast( it was closing night ). I had one beer that night. Mostly just to drink in my mothers name. After all, it was her birthday.
Friday: August 5th: I went to see another show that night. A different one. I must have known at least 17 people in the cast( just in case you are curious, the first show was called The Visit, and the second show which opened today is called Love Labours Lost ). I went out to Denny's with them, them walked over to my friend Stevo's house for my friend Aaron's birthday celebration. And I got drunk at that party too. sickingly drunk. I've come to the conclusion that I don't need alcohol in my life. It's fun to be drunk, but with my obsessive personality, maybe it's not such a good idea. I'll leave it at that.
That is about all of the good stuff that happened so far. I got to see my good friend Priscilla on Sunday, Mondayand Tuesday were basically spent hanging out with my closest friend Jason and his baby, and today I have an art party to go to( one that I usually try and go to every Wednesday ). I usually work on songs and poems. Once I even cooked for everyone. That's an art.
I also plan on attempting to write a book soon. I have a few ideas in my head that seriously need to go places. And now that I recently fixed my laptop( which had a broken screen ) by buying a desktop monitor and hooking it up to it, I can finally start writting again.
I also need to save up for a good starter camera. I want to get into photography. I also need to clean up my facebook photogallery, start a photography album, a cooking album, a baking album, a modeling album( which won't be done until that gym membership starts to pay off ) and in general ... well, there's just so much I want to do with my life. time to shut up now and make stuff happen. Goodbye for now.

I've been Sucker Punched
I saw Sucker Punch recently. I'd like to take this opportunity to express what I thought of this movie.
Firstly, I'd like to point out how many of you who have seen this movie argue over it's supposed sexism. While I can understand with both points( Those that say having the girls wear what they wore was nothing more then an eye candle for an obvious male audience while those of you say that having women wear those outfits show exactly how far womens rights had gone in the last couple of years to the point where they can pull off wearing those kinds of outfits and have it be more for them and less for those watching them ) of that debate, I personally am more neutral. The "it's sexist, it's not" aspect of the movie is not really my complaint.
My complaint is more-so the story. While I did realize the neccessity for them having their day dream adventures to help blanket the harsh reality that they were faced with in order to find a means to escape, I saw the entire movie nothing more then a really good virtual reality theme park ride. What I mean by that is, yes, it was very visually stunning. But for me the movie as a whole didn't come together fully. Graphically and sound wise, it was phenomenal. The Cinematography was breathtaking and the cast was very well put together. I just wasn't engaged enough in the story. And to me, the story is everything in a movie. I may need to watch it again one day to truly appreciate it, but as it stands right now, this isn't a movie I would call one of the greats. Granted, it is a good movie to watch once or twice, but I can't say this is one I would put in the my category of films I would watch 10-20+ times.
A 3 out of 5 stars.

First Official Post
Well, where to start? How about an introduction? Yeah, that seems about right.
I was born in 1984. Do the math and that's how old I am. I am currently studying to be an actor under the leaderships of the fine instructors of the Actor Training Program which is run through the Solano Community College. In this program so far I have studied in various aspects of entertainment such as Jazz Dance, Ballet, Tap, Singing, Acting, Voice work and Dilect work. It's a two year program and my second year begins in about a month or so.
I aspire to be many things. A painter. A writer. An actor. A director. A singer. A musician. An athlete. A producer. A rapper. An inernet culinary artist. A dancer. A DJ. An MC. A photographer. A poet. An activist. A cosplayer. Host of a childrens show. A pilot. An equestrian. A fire fighter. Basically, a lot of things. But mostly involving entertainment.
If you couldn't tell by the blogs name, I am a big believer in believing. I try to see the good in everything and everyone. I also try to hate nothing. It's just an absolute waste of time. Also, for a long time now I have been wanting to do things that aren't just fun, but have a positive affect on the world we live in. I didn't always have this vision, but as time progressed I started to think of many ways I can help to make the world a better place for everyone. And as we all know true change starts with yourself. Always try to surround yourself with positive energy and exert positive energy and it catchers the attention of others and influences them. Thereby allowing happiness and positivity into their lives. Something everyone needs. Which means if you see someone who is sad or alone, smile and show them that you care. It sounds corny, but that's really how happiness spreads.
As for my personal goals for the future, the plan itself is simple but getting their won't be easy. My dreams in regards to my entertainment career is to slowly build a name for myself in the many different aspects of entertainment that I plan on training in( film, theater, music, sports, art, modeling ... whatever it may be ) and keep doing what I do until I become a success. Then use that success, fame and fortune and begin a program that will be the main source of all the many different charities that I plan to support. Financially speaking if I were to be making as much as the average celebrity, I could live a happy and healthy life for myself with around 2-5 percent what I'd be making. So why keep the extra, unneeded money around?
That's the jist of my future plans. I want to be able to make a living( and by living I mean a normal living ) off of what I do and put the majority of my finances into the non-profit program I mentioned earlier. An organization dedicated to just putting much needed finances towards those who really need it. Starving children, countries in economic crisis, families about to loose their homes, schools about to be shut down( or school programs ), ect. In short, making the world a better place through finances. Sure, money is the root of all evil, but it doesn't have to be. The way I see it, the easiest and quickest way to make a real difference in the world is to financially support those in need. If only more and more rich and famous people thought that way. That's one of my main motivations in continuing on the journey to success. For me, it's 5-10 percent becoming sucessful to make my life better and 90-95 percent becoming sucessful to help others.
That's all I'm going to write about for my first blog. I don't want to come off as some pretentious ass hole or anything.
In other unrelated to my future plans news, I can't believe it's 7:03 and I still have not been to bed yet. I was up for hours creating this blog and am still in the process of downloading new music for my Android phone which I got a few weeks ago. I'm so far up to 2 and a half GB's of awesome Indie goodness :).
Until next time future readers. I hope this blog entertains someone out there. I'll try my best to make this blog as entertaining as possible. I'll also try and make sure to blog about other things on occassion. Not just updates on my adventures through life. Perhaps movie reviews and gadget reviews can be expected as well. Only time will tell. Until then always remember that life is like a story and you are the one holding the pen.
